  4. Liferay experience preferred
  5. Experience with SOA design and RESTful web services

Overview

Do you want to help IBR build a portfolio of next-generation mobile enabled data collection systems and enterprise portals? As a Senior Systems Engineer at IBR, you will support the Agile based engineering of a robust, secure, and scalable enterprise web portal solution. This position will work closely with IT teams to design, code, test and implement application features and capabilities for an enterprise portal with 1M users built on the Liferay plate hosted in AWS. 

The candidate is required to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.

The candidate is required to be onsite at the project facility in Orlando, FL, during normal business hours. 

Responsibilities

  1. Lead all aspects of the SDLC for a SOA based enterprise IdAM solution utilizing COTS products such as Okta
  2. Develop project execution plans for initial architecture/design, infrastructure buildout, software implementation
  3. Interact with portfolio stakeholders for technical exchanges and integration planning
  4. Oversee the development of enterprise level API documentation and Interface Control Documents
  5. external partners, test, deployment and operations
  6. Collaborating closely with other engineering disciplines as necessary to communicate project plans and status
  7. Lead design and development of enterprise IdAM web front-end using such technologies as: Javascript, JSP/JSF, AJAX, REST, CSS3, HTML5, Bootstrap, JSON, XML using open Source tool Forgerock
  8. Lead a cross-platform and cross-browser front-end in DevOps environment with continuous integration, regression testing, and deployment
  9. Partner closely with UX and back-end engineers to ensure features are developed holistically
  10. Follow Agile software development methodology and team architecture and application security standards
  11. Participate in design, code, and test inspections throughout life cycle to identify issues/defect

Qualifications

  1. BS degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, related technical field or equivalent practical experience.
  2. 10+ years of experience designing and developing large scale applications using Java
  3. 5+ years of experience with SOA design and RESTful web services
  4. 3+ years of experience with Identity and Access Management products
  5. Highly experience in the design and implementation of modern web applications
  6. Experience developing and integrating complex software systems through the full system development life cycle
  7. Experience delivering in Agile based environments
  8. Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
  9. Ability to obtain and maintain a secret clearance
