The Senior Solutions Architect must be able to meet the key criteria below:
Location: 100% remote. This is a United States based position, and candidates must reside in the continental United States to be eligible for employment.
Years’ Experience: 15+ years professional experience
Education: Bachelor’s degree required
Security Clearance: IBR is a federal contractor. Applicants must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance issued by U.S Marine Corp. This agency handles and adjudicates the security clearance process.
NOTE: United States Citizenship is required as part of the eligibility criteria to be able to obtain this type of security clearance.

Work Schedules: IBR promotes work-life balance by offering flexible scheduling options. Standard business hours are aligned to the Eastern Time Zone.
Key Skills:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in delivering enterprise products using enterprise standards
- Minimum of 3 years of experience assessing new technologies and building innovative products that use those technologies
- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects as a solutions architect.
- Proficiency supporting new business capture activities in a solutions architect role supporting technical challenges and responding to RFPs
- Strong hands-on experience with Azure services and Cloud infrastructure/architecture.
- Proficiency in designing and implementing software architectures using industry-standard tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to anticipate and mitigate potential issues.
- Exceptional communication skills to effectively liaise with customers, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams
- Experience leading teams to successful technical project delivery for customers.
- Experience in designing and implementing solutions that use AI/ML technologies is desired.
Position Overview
As a Solutions Architect at IBR, you will play a key role in designing and implementing secure, next-generation solutions that support critical missions. As a member of our MITSM program, you will collaborate with technical leaders, business stakeholders, and a multi-disciplinary team to ensure solutions are scalable, secure and forward-thinking, while remaining aligned with organizational and program goals. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to technical strategy within a dynamic, mission-driven, and customer focused environment.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with customers to understand their business needs and translate them into comprehensive technical solutions.
- Lead the end-to-end architectural design and development process, ensuring scalability, performance, and security for key initiatives including the internal IBR R&D lab
- Create high-level architecture designs, system integration diagrams, and technical documentation.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior architects and development teams.
- Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive innovation within the organization.
- Leading technology trade-off analyses for Federal Government customers.
- Produce written presentations and communicate solution architecture approaches for mission requirements
- Leading technical challenge activities as part of the proposal process
- Produce written responses to RFPs as part of the overall new business capture process
- Analyze complex datasets and algorithms to assess performance or find new patterns and apply machine learning techniques to data sets related to immigration, with the goal to make an impact across federal government
Qualifications
- 15+ years of experience leading the delivery of innovative products
- Bachelor degree required
- Must be able to obtain a Secret security clearance.
- Azure certifications preferred, Certified Scrum Master certification a bonus.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects as a solution architect.
- Strong hands-on experience with Azure services and cloud infrastructure/architecture. .
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to anticipate and mitigate potential issues.
- Exceptional communication skills to effectively liaise with customers, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
- Experience leading teams to successful technical project delivery for customers.
- Demonstrated understanding of IT management, administration, applications and system development lifecycles within a substantial IT environment.

The expected salary range for this position is $150,000 – $180,000 USD annually. This is a good-faith estimate and not a salary guarantee as compensation may vary based on factors such as experience, education, skills, associated role responsibilities, applicable contractual requirements, and geographic location.
