    • ​​​​​​​Primavera, MS Project and Agile experience required

Overview

Do you want to help IBR build a portfolio of next-generation mobile enabled data collection systems? As a Master Scheduler at IBR, you will support the program office and task teams to capture and maintain their work plans in an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) in MS Project. The mobile enabled, web based platform will orchestrate device ordering, provisioning, and asset management functions for a nationwide field staff of 500K+.
 

Responsibilities

  1. Develop and maintain an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) for all activities across the program.
  2. Coordinate with project teams to gather all levels of project plans and schedules; integrate schedules into server and manage dependencies across multiple schedules.
  3. Coordinate with all technical and functional disciplines to ensure plans and schedule are comprehensive and accurate, encompassing defined requirements and scope.
  4. Facilitate meetings with senior level program staff, making recommendations and putting plans into action
  5. Participate in program activities related to the preparation and communication of Integrated Master Plans (IMP) and Integrated Master Schedule (IMS).
  6. Participate in project planning and risk reporting; control and track changes to the schedule baseline.
  7. Review, compare, and analyze schedule performance against baseline program plans.
  8. Provide schedule performance visibility to program management through metrics, reports, and briefings.
  9. Forecast performance and perform risk analysis of schedules, and provide management with an understanding of the current schedule, risks, opportunities, and recommended actions to address variance and predict future performance.
  10. Communicate and report summaries of program schedule.
  11. Familiarity of scheduling best practices and ability to implement best practices in a dynamic environment.
  12. Maintain awareness of industry trends and technology to advise management of recommended improvements to processes and tools
  13. Identify and manage anticipated resistance
  14. Support training and communication efforts
  15. Support and engage senior leaders
  16. Support organizational design and definition of roles and responsibilities
  17. Coordinate efforts with other specialists
  18. Define and measure success metrics and monitor schedule process. Define, analyze, and present appropriate metrics as part of the continual service improvement lifecycle.

Qualifications

  1. Experience posting schedule management information on project portals that contain project information and document repositories.
  2. Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle including Agile.
  3. Tools/Technology Experience: Advanced knowledge developing, implementing, and maintaining schedules in MS Project. Advanced knowledge in defining and administering a risk management program. Microsoft Project and Project Server proficiency to include schedule planning, schedule development, and schedule analysis.
