Employment Type: Part-Time (10 - 25 hours per week)

Duration: 6 weeks

  • GPA of 3.0 or greater
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required
  • Interested in software or security engineering related career

 

Position Overview

IBR is offering a Communications/Marketing oriented internship. You will report to your internship lead to work on project requirements that may include but not limited to research related tasks.

 

Responsibilities

  • Support the design and development of internal and external communications
  • Conduct independent research to create content to be used for social media posts, blog entries, and press releases
  • Work in a team environment toward a high-level goal with minimal oversight
  • Be a self-starter and look for opportunities to contribute within your core competencies

  • May currently have or maintain a GPA of 3.0 or greater
  • Currently pursuing a Communications, Marketing, or English related career
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required

Physical Demands and Work Environment

While this position primarily involves sedentary work in an office environment and/or home-office environment, there are some physical demands associated with the role, including:

  • Extended periods of sitting and working at a computer workstation.
  • Occasional lifting and carrying of equipment or materials weighing up to 20 pounds.
  • Occasional travel to client sites or meetings may be required.
  • Work may need to be performed in a fast-paced environment requiring quick thinking and rapid judgements.
  • Additionally, flexible work arrangements may be available based on business needs.
  • Employee will be exposed to a wide variety of clients in differing functions, personalities, and abilities.
