  4. Clearance: Must be able and willing to obtain a Secret Clearance
  5. Work Authorization: Must be a US Citizen
  6. Skill Set:
    • Must have systems engineering experience
    • Must have requirements engineering experience through SDLC

 

Overview

 

Do you want to help IBR build a portfolio of next-generation data collection systems and enterprise portals? Provide subject matter expertise in the evaluation of system requirements, architectures, models, designs, and release/deployment plans.  Providing a significant degree of ingenuity, creativity and resourcefulness.  Assess the operational and functional baselines of an organization and its supporting systems.  Provide subject matter expertise in business process modeling and requirements engineering. Assess the current business process and requirements baseline of business customers and solution providers.  Elicit, refine, and decompose requirements to provide a comprehensive set of requirements that meet the business customers need.  Engage stakeholders in reviews to build consensus on requirements.  Baseline requirements and respond to change as required. Provide subject matter expertise in, but not limited to, System Architecture, System Modeling, Software Development, Systems Integration, Requirements Engineering, Business Analysis and Technical Analysis.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Focused on assessment, elicitation, decomposition and baselining of functional and non-functional requirements
  • Facilitate the elicitation of requirements with business customers, system assessment teams, test teams, etc. to ensure prioritization
  • Determines operational objectives by studying business functions; gathering information; evaluating output requirements and formats
  • Improves system requirements process by studying current practices; designing and implementing improvements
  • Recommends new or modified controls by identifying problems; writing improved procedures.
  • Develop process/control changes by identifying gaps/issues/areas for improvement; writing improved processes.
  • Maintains system protocols, architecture, requirements, and associated design documents through traceability, updating procedures, analyzing system and program changes.
  • Prepares technical reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.

 

Qualifications

 

  • 5 years or more experience working requirements engineering process through full SDLC
  • Experience working with complex systems through the full development life cycle
  • Experience with agile methodology and writing user stories/acceptance criteria
  • Experience using JIRA preferred
  • Experience with web services preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills that is motivated and proactive
  • Experience in a fast paced, external facing Customer Support department required
  • Experience with functional and/or technical aspects of enterprise commercial off the shelf software packages and custom development
  • Demonstrated experience establishing and maintaining effective working relationships in team environments and with other business organizations
