Description

The Digital Brand Specialist must be able to meet the key criteria below:

Location: 100% remote

Years’ Experience: 5+ years professional experience

Education: Bachelor degree in Marketing, Advertising, Journalism, Communications, Graphic Design or related field

Security Clearance: IBR is a federal contractor. Applicants must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.

NOTE: United States Citizenship is required as part of the eligibility criteria to be able to obtain this type of security clearance.

Position Overview

As a Digital Brand Specialist with IBR you will support strategic communications, marketing activities and assist with social media management, press releases, executive presentations, marketing materials, and graphics for business development activities.

 

Responsibilities

  • Support the graphic design and development of internal and external communications
  • Create or update technical process infographics for contract proposals
  • Conduct independent research to create graphic content to be used for corporate social media posts, blog entries, press releases, and marketing materials
  • Work in a team environment toward a high-level goal with minimal oversight
  • Be a self-starter and look for opportunities to contribute within your core competencies
  • Schedule and plan posts using social media management tools like Hootsuite
  • Provide support in the production of video content
  • Create graphics for business development and proposal efforts
  • Follow corporate design and branding to maintain established brand standards across platforms
  • Schedule meetings, manage, and organize tasks with MS Teams

 

Qualifications

  • Must be able to obtain a Secret security clearance
  • Most currently possess a Bachelor in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Graphic Design or related field
  • At least five years of experience with LinkedIn social media marketing
  • Experience marketing to and engaging with large corporate, DoD, Federal, or Civil Government clients to drive interaction and growth
  • Advanced corporate infographic graphic design skills with at least 5 years of experience with Photoshop, Illustrator, and PowerPoint
  • At least 5 years of experience designing corporate presentations, charts, and infographics with PowerPoint
  • At least 5 years of experience with marketing analytics tools (e.g., Google and LinkedIn Analytics
  • Ability to understand complex ideas or processes and visually summarize them into an infographic
  • Working knowledge of AP-Style for written communications
  • Video editing experience using Adobe Premiere Pro
  • Strong communicator that pro-actively updates leadership with their progress on projects
  • Willingness to learn about the proposal process and provide assistance in technical writing, as needed

 

Physical Demands and Work Environment

While this position primarily involves sedentary work in an office environment and/or home-office environment, there are some physical demands associated with the role, including:

  • Extended periods of sitting and working at a computer workstation.
  • Occasional lifting and carrying of equipment or materials weighing up to 20 pounds.
  • Occasional travel to client sites or meetings may be required.
  • Work may need to be performed in a fast-paced environment requiring quick thinking and rapid judgements.
  • Additionally, flexible work arrangements may be available based on business needs.
  • Employee will be exposed to a wide variety of clients in differing functions, personalities, and abilities.
