Overview
Do you want to help IBR build a portfolio of next-generation data collection systems? As a Software Scrum Master at IBR, you will support the Agile based engineering of a robust, secure, and scalable enterprise web portal solution supporting 1M users hosted in AWS. This position will work closely with IT teams to design, code, test and implement application features and capabilities for an enterprise portal built on the Liferay platform utilizing modern front end and back end methodologies hosted in AWS.
Responsibilities
- Managing Product Backlog through coordination with Product Owners
- Managing Sprint Backlog through coordination with Product Owners and Scrum Team Members
- Creation of user stories and epics using Jira
- Ensuring daily activities are in accordance with Scrum Process
- Coordinating with other team members to work action items and handle issues
- Reacting to change and communicating to others
- Acting as Scrum Master for an Architecture / Dev Ops Team
- Acting as Scrum Master for a Mobile Application Team
Qualifications
- Software Background to understand Technical Details from each team at a foundational level
- Knowledge of Software Development Process
- Experience with Agile Methods / Prefer Certified Scrum Master
- Experience leading SW development teams
- Ability to coordinate with others
- Strong communication skills
- Strong ability to remove roadblocks
- Knowledge of Atlassian Tools such as Jira
