Overview

Do you want to help IBR build a portfolio of next-generation mobile enabled data collection systems and  enterprise web applications powered by elastic cloud computing platforms? As a Cloud Solutions Architect at IBR, you will support the Agile based delivery of AWS cloud enabled solutions for existing Commercial / Federal clients and lead internal R&D activities.

The candidate is required to obtain and maintain DOD (Secret+) and Civil (Public Trust) government clearances.

The candidate is required to be onsite at the project facility in Orlando, FL during normal business hours. A up to 50% telework policy is expected to be granted after the initial program ramp up and requirements elicitation with no more than 25% of travel out of state.

Responsibilities

1. Be responsible for cloud computing architecture, design, deployment, and operations of new cloud-based services, and current managed services, to public cloud service provider (CSP) platforms. 
2. Serve as the subject matter expert for all technical aspects of the cloud solution to include approach, architecture, analysis, technologies, cost, development, and execution
3. Implement IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS solutions
4. Support respective Independent Research and Development (IRAD) and technical capture activities
5. Research, apply, and document best practices for the design and administration of cloud-based services.
6. Assist with the creation and maintenance of standard cloud computing policies, operating procedures, and overall documentation. 
7. Collaborate with Information Assurance Architects to establish and maintain robust security doctrine in compliance with DoD, FIPS, FISMA, and HIPPA standards throughout all levels of activity (systems, personnel, and data).
8. Collaborate and assist with activities associated with the development, configuration, integration and deployment of containerized, microservices architectures to support enterprise application development. 
9. Currently understand and continue to learn AWS Services including but not limited to:
   1. AWS Virtual Private Clouds (VPC)
   2. Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2)
   3. Elastic Load Balancing
   4. AWS Simple Storage Services (S3)
   5. AWS Security Groups
   6. AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM)
   7. EC2 Auto Scaling
   8. AWS Route 53
   9. AWS Simple Email Service (SES)
   10. AWS Simple Notification Service (SNS)
   11. AWS CloudWatch
   12. AWS CloudTrail
   13. AWS API Gateway
   14. AWS Best Security Practices

Qualifications

13. BS degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, related technical field or equivalent practical experience.
14. 10+ years of systems development experience
15. You have 3+ years of working experience with AWS
16. Experience with Linux Container technology like Docker
17. AWS Certified Solutions Architect, SysOps Administrator, and/or Developer
18. Experience of cloud monitoring and operational performance tools
19. Experience with DevOps concepts
20. Experience with configuration management and server deployment using automation and DevOps, with a strong preference towards PowerShell, Chef, Terraform and Packer, Jenkins, and Nexus/Artifactory
