Security Clearance: Must possess active Secret security clearance

Key Skills:

  • Extensive hands-on experience developing in Microsoft Dynamics and Power Platform
  • Experience designing and architecting technical solutions in the Microsoft Azure ecosystem
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipeline and enterprise DevSecOps implementation is preferred
  • Ability to obtain a CompTIA Security+ certification

 

Position Overview

IBR is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Microsoft Subject Matter Expert (SME) with specialized knowledge in Microsoft Power Platform and Dynamics. This role is critical for leading our organization's efforts in leveraging Microsoft technologies to optimize business processes, improve client engagement, and drive innovation. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of Microsoft's suite of tools, with a focus on Power Platform and Dynamics, and will have a proven track record of implementing and managing these solutions in a large-scale environment.

 

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of solutions using Microsoft Dynamics and Power Platform (including PowerApps, Power BI, and Power Automate) to enhance business functionality and overall performance.
  • Design and architect solutions that integrate Dynamics 365 with other systems and software to meet complex business requirements.
  • Provide expert guidance and leadership to project teams on the customization, configuration, and optimization of Microsoft Dynamics and Power Platform.
  • Conduct workshops and training sessions to increase proficiency across the organization in using Microsoft technologies effectively.
  • Stay updated with Microsoft’s product strategies and roadmaps to ensure our technology stack remains forward-looking and competitive.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their business needs and translate them into technical requirements and business solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with security and data protection standards.
  • Manage troubleshooting and provide ongoing support and maintenance for implemented solutions.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or IT related field.
  • Must possess active Secret security clearance.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in IT and business systems implementation, with at least 3 years focused on Microsoft Dynamics and Power Platform.
  • Expertise in configuring, deploying, and managing Microsoft Dynamics 365 and its integrations.
  • Experience designing, architecting, and developing Microsoft Azure based solutions.
  • Strong experience with PowerApps, Power BI, and Power Automate.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor teams in complex technical environments.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in government or defense contracting environment a bonus
  • Microsoft certifications in Dynamics 365, Power Platform, or Azure desired
  • Project management experience and certifications (e.g., PMP) a bonus

 

Physical Demands and Work Environment

While this position primarily involves sedentary work in an office environment and/or home-office environment, there are some physical demands associated with the role, including:

  • Extended periods of sitting and working at a computer workstation.
  • Occasional lifting and carrying of equipment or materials weighing up to 20 pounds.
  • Occasional travel to client sites or meetings may be required.
  • Work may need to be performed in a fast-paced environment requiring quick thinking and rapid judgements.
  • Additionally, flexible work arrangements may be available based on business needs.
  • Employee will be exposed to a wide variety of clients in differing functions, personalities, and abilities.
