  • IT experience with focus on mobile infrastructure/deployment
  • Must have at least one of the following certifications:
    • Enterprise Mobility Associate
    • Enterprise Mobililty Professional
    • Enterprise Mobility Expert

Overview

Do you want to help IBR build a portfolio of next-generation data collection systems? The Mobility Engineer is responsible for implementing designs and approaches for the 2020 Decennial Census.  The mobile infrastructure must securely support approximately 300,000 mobile devices. This individual works closely with the Mobilty Lead and Lead Mobile Engineer to ensure the mobile infrastructure securely supports and scales for 2018 end-to-end test and 2020 Decennial. 

Experience with U.S. Census operations and Pegasystems mobile deployments preferred. This individual will work with mobile, cloud, infrastructure and performance Subject Matter Experts to ensure that the mobile infrastructure supports 300,000 heads-down mobile users for the 2020 Decennial.

Responsibilities

  1. Implements MDM software packages
  2. Defines profiles and rules for MDM solution
  3. Implements MAM software packages
  4. Support DaaS to insure that any GFE platforms are available for contractor
  5. Experience in developing design requirements for an expansive mobile device management (MDM) system, including mobile configuration management, remote device control, auditing, critical file backup, wiping, data synchronization, firmware updates, diagnostics, security, network usage, mobile asset tracking and management, device provisioning, software installation, policy application, logging, and reporting, GPS tracking and breadcrumb mapping, and geofencing.
  6. Knowledgeable of Mobile App Stores and able to deploy Enterprise store to support all mobile apps used in the 2020 Census
  7. Supports mobile app dev teams with usage of MDM and MAM as part of their solutions
  8. Define the proper controls and mechanisms required for a successful mobile deployment

Qualifications

  1. Years of Experience: 14 years
  2. Education Requirements: Bachelors
  3. Experience in IT with major focus on mobile infrastructure and deployment.
  4. Knowledge deployment strategies for Mobile Device Management platforms AirWatch
  5. Knowledge deployment strategies for Mobile Application Management platforms AirWatch
  6. Knowledge deployment of Enterprise Mobile App Stores AirWatch
  7. Must have at least one of the following certifications:
    • Enterprise Mobility Associate
    • Enterprise Mobililty Professional
    • Enterprise Mobility Expert
