Description

The Senior Solutions Architect must be able to meet the key criteria below:

Location: 100% Remote

Years’ Experience: 15+ years professional experience

Education: Bachelor’s Degree required

Security Clearance: IBR is a federal contractor. Applicants must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.

NOTE: United States Citizenship is required as part of the eligibility criteria to be able to obtain this type of security clearance.

Key Skills:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in delivering enterprise products using enterprise standards
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience assessing new technologies and building innovative products that use those technologies
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects as a solutions architect.
  • Proficiency supporting new business capture activities in a solutions architect role supporting technical challenges and responding to RFPs
  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure services and Cloud architecture.
  • Proficiency in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines using industry-standard tools.
  • Proficiency in designing and implementing software architectures using industry-standard tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to anticipate and mitigate potential issues.
  • Exceptional communication skills to effectively liaise with customers, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams
  • Experience leading teams to successful technical project delivery for customers.
  • Experience in designing and implementing solutions that use AI/ML technologies is desired.

As we continue to grow, we are seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our projects.

 

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with customers to understand their business needs and translate them into comprehensive technical solutions.
  • Lead the end-to-end architectural design and development process, ensuring scalability, performance, and security for key initiatives including the internal IBR R&D lab
  • Create high-level architecture designs, system integration diagrams, and technical documentation.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior architects and development teams.
  • Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive innovation within the organization.
  • Leading technology trade-off analyses for Federal Government customers.
  • Produce written presentations and communicate solution architecture approaches for mission requirements
  • Leading technical challenge activities as part of the proposal process
  • Produce written responses to RFPs as part of the overall new business capture process
  • Analyze complex datasets and algorithms to assess performance or find new patterns and apply machine learning techniques to data sets related to immigration, with the goal to make an impact across federal government

 

Qualifications

  • 15+ years of experience leading the delivery of innovative products
  • Bachelor degree required
  • Must be able to obtain a Secret security clearance.
  • AWS and/or Azure certifications preferred, Certified Scrum Master certification a bonus.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects as a solution architect.
  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure services and cloud architecture.
  • Proficiency in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines using industry-standard tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to anticipate and mitigate potential issues.
  • Exceptional communication skills to effectively liaise with customers, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
  • Experience leading teams to successful technical project delivery for customers.
  • Demonstrated understanding of IT management, administration, applications and system development lifecycles within a substantial IT environment.

 

Physical Demands and Work Environment

While this position primarily involves sedentary work in an office environment and/or home-office environment, there are some physical demands associated with the role, including:

  • Extended periods of sitting and working at a computer workstation.
  • Occasional lifting and carrying of equipment or materials weighing up to 20 pounds.
  • Occasional travel to client sites or meetings may be required.
  • Work may need to be performed in a fast-paced environment requiring quick thinking and rapid judgements.
  • Additionally, flexible work arrangements may be available based on business needs.
  • Employee will be exposed to a wide variety of clients in differing functions, personalities, and abilities.
