Overview

Do you want to help IBR build a portfolio of next-generation mobile enabled data collection systems? As a Java Developer at IBR, you will support the Agile based engineering of a robust, secure, and scalable operations control platform providing granular, real-time data visualizations into critical mission indicators. The mobile enabled, web based platform will orchestrate device ordering, provisioning, and asset management functions for a nationwide field staff of 500K+.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop enterprise mid-tier components of web driven n-tier application framework with technologies such as: Java, ORM (Hibernate, JPA), Spring, Spring, JSON, REST, SOAP, XML.
• Implement web services, data persistence access features and external interfaces to third-party systems
• Partner closely with front-end and database engineers to ensure features are developed holistically
• Comply to coding standards for performance, ease of maintenance and scalability and application security.
• Follow Agile software development methodology and team architecture standards.
• Participate in design, code, and test inspections throughout life cycle to identify issues/defects

Qualifications

• Experience in Java Spring Framework (Boot, Batch, Data, Security)
• Desired technology experience includes: Javascript, SOAP, Oracle 12c database, Apache Tomcat, Eclipse IDE (as part of Spring Tools Suite), SSO, Oracle SOA, Oracle BPM, Hibernate, REST Services
• Experience with code management using SVN and DevOps best practices and implementation such as Jenkins
• Experience developing and integrating complex software systems through the full SDLC
• Experience with Agile Scrum
