The Salesforce Project Manager must be able to meet the key criteria below:

Location: 100% remote. This is a United States based position, and candidates must reside in the continental United States to be eligible for employment.

Years’ Experience: 7+ years professional experience

Education: Bachelor’s degree required

Security Clearance: IBR is a federal contractor. Applicants must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance issued by the U.S. Air Force. This agency handles and adjudicates the security clearance process.

NOTE: United States Citizenship is required as part of the eligibility criteria to be able to obtain this type of security clearance.

Work Schedules: IBR promotes work-life balance by offering flexible scheduling options. Standard business hours are aligned to the Eastern Time Zone.

Position Overview

As a Salesforce Project Manager at IBR, you will play a key role in designing and implementing secure, next-generation solutions that support critical missions. As a member of our team, you will collaborate with technical leaders, business stakeholders, and a multi-disciplinary team to ensure solutions are scalable, secure and forward-thinking, while remaining aligned with organizational and program goals. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to technical strategy within a dynamic, mission-driven, and customer focused environment.

 

You will support concept of operation formulation, requirements engineering, system analysis and design, systems integration, performance analysis, and architecture. You will be responsible for ensuring the logical and systematic conversion of product, operations, and security requirements into total systems solutions within technical, schedule, and cost constraints.

 

Responsibilities

  • Leads team on large projects or significant segment of large complex projects
  • Analyzes new and complex project related problems and creates innovative solutions involving finance, scheduling, technology, methodology, tools, and solution components.
  • Oversees all aspects of projects
  • Lead Salesforce implementations and upgrades, ensuring solutions align with business objectives and Salesforce best practices.
  • Manage Salesforce projects across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and related platforms, including requirements gathering, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-implementation support.
  • Collaborate with Salesforce Administrators, Developers, and Architects to design scalable, secure, and user-friendly solutions.
  • Facilitate workshops with stakeholders to translate business processes into Salesforce capabilities.
  • Drive adoption and change management strategies to maximize the value of Salesforce solutions.
  • Oversee governance, release management, and Salesforce platform enhancements

 

Qualifications

  • Project Management experience – Minimum 7 years IT Project Management experience
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Must have knowledge and working experience with Salesforce
  • All Salesforce Certifications listed below are required:
    • Certified Salesforce Administrator
    • Certified Salesforce Sales Cloud Consultant
    • Certified Salesforce Services Cloud Consultant
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce platform architecture, security model, and integration patterns.
  • Proven track record leading Salesforce CRM projects
  • Experience leading all project phases including managing cost, schedule, and risks, collaborate with stakeholders, mitigate risks and resolve issues, and communicate status updates
  • Ability to manage cross-functional teams including Salesforce Administrators, Developers, and Business Analysts.
  • Demonstrated experience with Salesforce deployment and release management processes
  • SDLC experience working from requirements to implementation
  • Experience with Earned Value Management and Risk Management
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to manage resources, and ability to manage the day-to-day processes
  • Ability to follow, implement, and manage Software Process Improvement
  • Project Management Certification preferred

The expected salary range for this position is $135,000 - $155,000 USD annually. This is a good-faith estimate and not a salary guarantee as compensation may vary based on factors such as experience, education, skills, associated role responsibilities, applicable contractual requirements, and geographic location.
