Description

The Project Engineer must be able to meet the key criteria below:

  • Location: Must be able to work onsite in Greenbelt, MD
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree
  • Years’ Experience: 2+
  • Clearance: Have or ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance (US citizen and Greencard holders only)
  • Key Skills/Experience:
    • Experience supporting software development teams using Agile methodology
    • Proficient in MS Office, MS Project
    • Agile Management tools such as Jira, HP ALM, or VersionOne

Overview

Do you want to help IBR build a portfolio of next-generation data collection systems? As a Project Engineer at IBR, you will support the development of a complex cloud based Systems of Systems portfolio that enables web based and mobile based data collection activities. Your project role will focus on supporting the technical management of software development activities.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate activities among multiple scrum teams
  • Collaborate with customers, business analysts, systems engineers, test engineers and quality assurance teams to develop plans and schedules
  • Efficiently manage the schedule and resource of the project teams to fulfill customer requirements and meet  implementation deadlines
  • Effectively manage all team member resources allocated for the project
  • Ensure the certification and knowledge levels of project team personnel are always current and comprehensive
  • Maintain progress reviews of project tasks and team member assignments.

Qualifications

  • Project Management/Engineering experience
  • Experience in Agile development with tools such as JIRA, HP ALM or VersionOne
  • Exposure to Earned value management and Cost Account Management
