Overview

Do you want to help IBR build a portfolio of next-generation mobile enabled data collection systems and enterprise portals? As a Full Stack Developer at IBR, you will support the Agile based engineering of a robust, secure, and scalable enterprise web portal solution supporting 1M users hosted in AWS. This position will work closely with IT teams to design, code, test and implement application features and capabilities for an enterprise portal built on the Liferay platform utilizing modern front end and back end methodologies hosted in AWS.

Responsibilities

1. Design and develop enterprise mid-tier components of web driven n-tier application framework with technologies such as: Java, ORM (Hibernate, JPA), Spring, Spring Security, JSON, REST, SOAP, XML.
2. Implement web services, data persistence access features and external interfaces to third-party systems
3. Partner closely with front-end and database engineers to ensure features are developed holistically
4. Comply with coding standards for performance, ease of maintenance and scalability and application security
5. Follow Agile software development methodology and team architecture standards.
6. Participate in design, code, and test inspections throughout life cycle to identify issues/defects

Qualifications

1. Certifications relevant to Java or other COTS platforms preferred
2. Java, ORM (Hibernate, JPA), Spring, Spring Security, JSON, REST, SOAP, XML experience preferred
3. Javascript, jQuery, Ajax, MDB, and user interface design experience.
4. Experience developing and integrating complex software systems through the full SDLC
5. Experience delivering in Agile based environments
6. Experience with SAFe is preferred
7. Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
