Overview

Do you want to help IBR build a portfolio of next-generation mobile enabled data collection systems? As a Database Engineer at IBR, you will support the Agile based engineering of a robust, secure, and scalable operations control platform providing granular, real-time data visualizations into critical mission indicators. The mobile enabled, web based platform will orchestrate device ordering, provisioning, and asset management functions for a nationwide field staff of 500K+.

The candidate is required to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance.

The candidate is required to be onsite at the project facility in Greenbelt, MD during normal business hours.

Responsibilities

1. Data modeling, creation of logical and relational data models
2. Database design and schema creations
3. Writing database scripts (DDL) for deployment of database objects into multiple environments.
4. Designing and developing interfaces with multiple external systems
5. Creating database scheduler jobs
6. Developing reporting views for OLTP and DSS systems
7. Heavy duty SQL, PL/SQL development
8. Developing scripts for bulk data loads
9. Working closely with application developers in meeting the database needs
10. Tuning interfaces and application databases for optimal performance

Qualifications

1. 10+ years of experience developing database applications
2. Oracle database experience with 11g and 12c
3. Self-motivated and go-getter
4. Understanding of the full stack development
5. Hands-on with heavy duty SQL/PLSQL and advanced SQL features
6. Full understanding of database management systems (DBMS) concepts.
7. Knowledge of No-SQL databases
8. SQL Developer, TOAD
9. Excellent troubleshooting skills
