The Geospatial Analyst must be able to meet the key criteria below:

  • Location: Must be onsite in Orlando, FL
  • Years’ Experience: 3+ years
  • Education: Bachelors
  • Clearance: Must currently hold a Secret Clearance
  • Work Authorization: Must be a United States Citizen
  • Key Skills:
    • Solid working knowledge of industry-standard geospatial software tools (e.g., SOCET Set, SOCET GXP, ERDAS IMAGINE, Harris ENVI, etc).
    • Direct experience with remotely sensed data and image processing is required.

 

Overview

 

As a Geospatial Analyst at IBR, you will work with multiple application teams to migrate systems into AWS environment in support of the My Navy Portal program. You will work in a classified production environment, responsible for performing image processing tasks to meet customer specifications and deadlines.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Process digital image data to generate Adjusted Metric Support Data (AMSD) files that meet customer requirements
  • Perform tie point measurement and processing to control and improve satellite imagery support data to meet customer specifications.
  • Understand and utilize established image production processes
  • Manage work packages and provide interface to project management to meet contractual production schedules and product delivery dates.
  • Assist in the development and writing of standard operating procedures.
  • Assist new personnel in the operation of production software and equipment
  • Adhere to established security procedures to work with and protect classified data
  • Perform related duties as assigned

 

Qualifications

 

  • Solid working knowledge of industry-standard geospatial software tools (e.g., SOCET Set, SOCET GXP, ERDAS IMAGINE, Harris ENVI, etc).
  • Recent, direct experience with remotely sensed data and image processing is required.
  • Solid working knowledge of triangulation and ground control point concepts.
  • Experience with government satellite imagery and stereo imagery is a plus.
  • Computer competency in Windows environment. Familiarity with Linux or UNIX operating systems also helpful.
